We are seeking a qualified, aggressive individual who is looking for a long-term position with an Essential company that is actively working to expand its overall position in the industry over the long term. This position will play a key role in the development and management of the all the financial aspects of the company.

 

Job Description: Provides accounting management support to President and Vice President Finance.

Experience: 3 to 5 years in manufacturing environment, minimum
2 year degree required. 4 year degree desirable.

Rate: Salaried Position with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance , 401K with generous company match, vacation & personal time off, and company sponsored life insurance. Competitive rate based upon experience.

Shift Information: Full time, Monday thru Fri, 7:00 to 4:00

Primarily responsible for company’s overall daily financials

Position requires passion and capability for analyzing information from multiple sources, creative problem solving, and identifying strategic implications, conclusions and recommendations.

Key responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for database architecture used in producing a wide range of financial, sales, and marketing reports. Tasks include d monitoring trends & historical patterns used to refine effectiveness, uncover insights, and forecast trends.
  • Will create and manage an ongoing P&L report system
  • Acts as liaison between company President, CFO and outside accounting firms, banks, and other financial institutions.
  • Manage timely circulation of business intelligence information to all departments.
  • Billing and accounts receivables and payables
  • Various performance related analysis as needed
  • Provide management support as needed
  • Manage one direct report

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, graphs, and advanced formulas.
  • Thorough knowledge of Quick Books in manufacturing setting and converting data into various other reporting formats.
  • Skilled with MS Word and Access
  • Database creation skills enabling multiple look up formats.
  • Must be highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Works well under pressure and continues to maintain professional behavior.
  • Outgoing, self-motivated, well organized, and highly detailed oriented
  • Creative problem solver and able to resolve conflicts
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal Management supervision.
  • Handle sensitive data with the strictest confidence and in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Desire to accept new projects and challenges
  • Works on issues to determine root cause analysis along with corrective action
  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
