Nazareth Pallet is an ever growing, privately held, major pallet recycling company headquartered in Northampton Pa. serving the Lehigh Valley and beyond for over 35 years.


Seeking someone with a sales or customer service background, preferably with a manufacturing company, to train with our Transportation and Sales Services managers to become the coordinating communicator between our shipping department and our customers.


Job Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator will ultimately be responsible for scheduling the daily movement of all product deliveries and pickups to our entire customer base under the supervision of the Transportation Manager.


Shift Information: Full Time


Rate: Salaried Position income based upon experience. Full benefits included


Duties & Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Coordinates all deliveries with Sales, Logistics & Production team members
  • Communicates directly with clients on all issues relative to but not limited to; delivery/pick up scheduling and any problems relating to a transportation issue.
  • Creates, prints & distributes all shipping & back haul paperwork and verbally communicates directly with drivers as needed.
  • Coordinates trailer inspections and other services directly with mechanic shop to minimize equipment down time.
  • Prepares various management reports for activities, schedules, and key account data
  • Will be trained to plan, schedule and supervise the daily transportation flow of all drivers and equipment for both pallets (inbound and outbound) and mulch (outbound). Includes pre-routing to maximize fuel efficiency & minimize wait times
  • Other duties as assigned


Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
  • Two years related experience preferred but will train right person who has the excellent verbal and written communication skills required to be successful.

  • A sales or customer services background in manufacturing or warehousing and have an excellent record of dealing with customers both verbally and in writing (emails)

  • Ambitious, detail oriented, well organized, operates with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Can work with minimum supervision.
  • Able to prioritize work based on customer and operational needs.
  • Critical thinking skills – always looks for ways to improve processes and performance.

Computer skills:

  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to understand and work with other basic computer software after training.
